Open files, switch Markdown source and preview, and check editing and save states.
Open generated documents and workspace files directly in Qoder. Choose the source or preview view for the file type, then use the editing and save controls available in that view when you need to make changes.
Open a file from the workspace list, a link in a reply, or an output card. Supported content appears in the right-hand work surface; the file menu offers other opening options.
Choose the default under Settings → General → Default output file location: the right sidebar or a new window. Individual file menus can override it. See Task monitor for output entries.
Switch Markdown files between Source and Preview. Edit and save text when the current view supports editing; supported Markdown preview editing also lets you change the document.
Check unsaved indicators and the save result before asking the Agent to continue from the file. Read-only, truncated, or unsupported files have editing restrictions. Preview support does not guarantee write access. For unreadable text, check the encoding control and the current save state.
If another operation changes the file on disk, normal saving is blocked and the draft is retained. Compare both versions before choosing which to keep. Confirm any overwrite; discarding the draft loses unsaved changes.
Use Code review for diffs and PPT editing for PPTX. Viewing, generation, and editing capabilities differ by file type.
