Sites

Start with a template or a prompt to create, preview, and share interactive websites in Qoder.

Availability: Individual plans (Free, Pro, Pro+, and Ultra) and business plans (Teams and Enterprise). The individual Free plan supports static website deployment only; database and storage services are not supported.
Sites lets you create websites through conversation in Qoder, then preview, refine, and publish them. Turn project updates into a filterable dashboard, a weekly report into an interactive report, or a feature in development into a demo page, and share a link with colleagues.
Sites is free for a limited time at launch, with usage limits. Reaching a limit may temporarily restrict creating sites or public access to sites with high usage. You can still edit and manage existing sites. Usage is counted across all sites in your account, and limits may be adjusted during the free period.

Create your first site

Select Sites in the sidebar and click Add site. Qoder opens a new task with @sites referenced in the composer. Choose a starter template or describe your requirements directly.

Start from a template

Browse the template panel above the composer to choose an initial design and set of features. Templates are grouped into Landing pages, Portfolios, Blogs & content, Dashboards, Internal tools, and Other.
  1. Choose a category that matches your goal. For example, explore a business dashboard under Dashboards or a focus workspace under Internal tools.
  2. Click a template you like. Its prompt is inserted into the task composer.
  3. Adjust the name, content, style, and features to fit your work, then send the task.
Templates provide a starting point you can adapt. For a project progress dashboard, you could keep the template's visual style and replace its content with a project overview, task statuses, and due dates.

Describe what you need

If you already have a clear idea, reference @sites in a new task and describe the website. Explain who will use it, what it should help them do, which information to display, and the actions it should support. For example, create a dashboard for a project meeting:
Create a "Project Progress Dashboard" website for presenting progress at my weekly project meeting.
At the top, show total, completed, in-progress, and overdue task counts.
Below, group tasks by Not started, In progress, and Done, with an owner, priority, and due date for each.
Support filtering by owner and status, and show details when a task is clicked.
Use sample data first, a clean light design, and layouts for desktop and mobile.
Generate a preview first; do not publish yet.
Attach relevant task lists, weekly reports, or design references, and explain which content Qoder should use. If the site should remember user changes, specify whether data should stay in the current browser or be shared across devices or users. Publishing a site does not automatically synchronize browser-local data with other users.

Build a site with Agent capabilities

A site can call an Agent service in Qoder Cloud Agents to run a task when a visitor interacts with it. Tasks can include processing data, retrieving information online, generating text or images, and generating page content dynamically. Outputs can be saved in the site's database and storage, without connecting a model or maintaining a backend yourself. Describe what visitors will submit, what the Agent should produce, and how the results should be displayed and saved. For example, you can request a sales analysis site:
Create a "Sales Analysis" site.
Visitors upload a monthly sales spreadsheet and click "Start analysis".
Use Qoder Cloud Agents to calculate trends, compare month-over-month changes,
and identify anomalies, then produce findings and charts.
Display the results on the page and save them to a database
so visitors can view previous analyses when they return.
Generate a preview first. Do not publish yet.
Agent tasks take time to run. Before publishing, submit a complete analysis task in the preview and confirm that the results are correct and have been saved.

Preview and refine

When generation finishes, click the website artifact in the response to open its preview in the Sites panel on the right. You can also open the site artifact from the task outputs. Interact with buttons, filters, and links directly, or use Show workspace fullscreen to expand the preview. For the project dashboard, switch owners and task statuses to check that summary counts, filtered results, and task details agree. If you supplied your own materials, check that the page represents them accurately.

Request changes in chat

Continue in the current task and describe what you want to change:
Put overdue tasks at the top of the list and highlight their due dates.
Add a project completion rate to the summary and update the statistics when filters change.
Keep the existing color palette and generate an updated preview.
Open the latest website artifact to review the result. Continue refining it through conversation until it fits your workflow.

Annotate a specific element

To adjust a particular button, heading, or card, identify it directly in the preview:
  1. Click Annotate at the top of the Sites panel, then click the element you want to change.
  2. Enter a request in Site annotation comment, such as "Change this card to show the overdue task count," and click Add annotation.
  3. The annotation is attached to the composer as a webpage comment. Send the message to ask Qoder to make the change.
  4. Review the new preview. Click Stop annotating to interact with the page again.
You can remove unwanted webpage comments before sending.

Publish and share

When the site is ready, publish a version and choose who can access it. New sites are accessible only to you by default, so you can check the published result first.

Publish the current version

  1. Review the latest preview's content, links, and interactions for your intended audience.
  2. Click Publish in the upper-right corner of the Sites panel and wait for Published.
  3. Open the publishing details to find the site address, then click Visit to check the published page.

Choose your audience

Open Sharing and access from the publishing details, or click Share in the site list. Select Change access scope and choose an audience. For Only invited users can access, enter the person's email address or Qoder UID, follow the interface to add them, and confirm that they appear in the Invited users list. A Qoder UID is available under Settings → Profile → Edit. Use Copy link to share the address after configuring access. Visitors to restricted sites must sign in with a Qoder account that has permission. Forwarding a link does not grant access. Permission to open and use a site is separate from permission to edit it.

Individual plans

Individual plans support three access scopes:
VisibilityUse case
Only you can accessA personal work dashboard or a version you are not ready to share.
Only invited users can accessProject updates or a feature prototype for selected users.
Anyone can accessA public product introduction or feature demo.
On an individual plan, for Anyone can access, confirm with Allow public access. Visitors can then open the site without signing in.

Teams and Enterprise

Sites on Teams and Enterprise plans can only be shared within their organization. Three access scopes are available:
VisibilityUse case
Only you can accessA personal work dashboard or a version you are not ready to share.
Only invited users can accessProject updates or a feature prototype for selected users.
Organization members can accessA project portal or internal tool for your organization.
Sharing with people outside the organization and public access are not supported. Invitees must belong to the same organization. For Organization members can access, visitors must sign in with a Qoder account in that organization. Forwarding a link does not grant access to people outside the organization.

Update a published site

When project progress changes, open Sites from the sidebar and find the dashboard. Choose More → Locate conversation to return to the original task and describe your changes in the conversation. For example, attach this week's task list and ask Qoder to update progress and due dates while keeping the layout. Review the new preview, then click Publish to update the live version.
The preview and published version are separate. A chat edit or new preview does not automatically replace live content. Visitors see the update at the site address after you publish again.

Manage your sites

In Sites, find content you created under Owned by you, or browse Shared with you. Use Card view or List view to switch layouts.

Change the name or address

Open More → Settings → General to change the site name or address prefix. The address editor separates the editable part from the fixed suffix. Check the full address before saving, then copy the updated link for sharing. The name in the site list is separate from the page title. To change a heading within your dashboard, ask Qoder in the task.

Review traffic

Open More → Analytics to view PV (page views), UV (unique visitors), average page views per visitor, and trends. Use Analytics period to select a date range, or click Refresh to query again. Dates marked Not collected have no collected data.

Take a site offline or delete it

To temporarily stop access, pause the site under Settings → Publishing and access. The site content is retained, and you can return to the original task to preview and edit it. Use Restore online when you need it again, and review its content and access scope. If you no longer need the site, use Settings → Delete site. This permanently removes the site and its access permissions and cannot be undone.
