Mobile Remote Control

View and continue Qoder desktop tasks from a mobile device.

Mobile remote control lets you check progress, add instructions, or respond to interactions while away from your computer. The desktop client remains responsible for accessing the local workspace and executing the task.

Before you start

  • Keep desktop Qoder signed in and running.
  • Make sure the desktop device has power, network access, and access to the task's workspace.

Download and sign in

  1. Open Settings in the desktop app, then select the mobile section under Integrations.
  2. Check the current product in the download area and scan the QR code to download its mobile app.
  3. Open the mobile app and sign in with the same account as on the desktop.
  • For Qoder desktop, choose Qoder Mobile.
  • Qoder and Qoder CN have separate accounts, tasks, and data. Use the mobile app that matches your desktop product.
  • See mobile downloads for supported stores and regions. If you cannot download the app, follow that page to use the H5 version for your product.

Enable remote control on the desktop

  1. In the mobile section of Settings → Integrations, find the remote-control options.
  2. Turn on the switch that allows the mobile app to control this device. You can then create and control remote tasks on this computer from your phone.
  3. To keep tasks running while you are away, enable the option to keep this device awake. It prevents system sleep while Qoder is running.
If the connection is unavailable, check the status shown on this page and use Retry if offered.
Remote tasks still execute on the desktop device. Keep Qoder running and make sure the computer has power, network access, and access to the required projects and files. The keep-awake option does not remain active after the app exits.

Continue a task remotely

Open the target task on the mobile device, review the latest Agent message and tool state, then add an instruction or respond to the pending interaction. The task can use only the workspace, tools, and permissions available to the desktop client. For more phone-side operations, see mobile remote control. If progress stops, first check that the desktop allows mobile control of this device. Then check that the desktop device is awake, Qoder is still running, both devices are online, and both clients use the same account.
Do not approve production changes, destructive commands, or other high-risk actions when you cannot verify the target and impact.

Turn off remote control

When you no longer need to control this computer from your phone, return to the mobile section of Settings → Integrations and turn off the switch that allows mobile control of this device.
