Qoder Teams edition now supports BYOK (Bring Your Own Key). Once enabled by an administrator, team members can configure their own third-party model API Keys to connect Coding Plans, Token Plans, or pay-as-you-go models, and use their chosen models for coding work within Qoder. When official billing begins, Qoder will charge a fixed-rate platform fee based on model usage volume — to encourage adoption, the platform fee is free for a limited time starting today. Data Handling Notice When using BYOK to connect to third-party models, your code and conversation content will be sent to the third-party model provider you specified for processing. The handling, storage, and use of such data will be governed by that provider’s terms of service and privacy policy, not Qoder’s agreements. If your team regularly works with sensitive code or business data, we recommend reviewing your chosen provider’s data handling terms before configuring BYOK. Additional Terms
  • Non-transferable: Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Cancellation/Forfeiture: If a user violates any obligations, terms, conditions, policies, laws, or rules related to their account or any Qoder service or product, Qoder reserves the right to immediately cancel, forfeit, and/or reclaim all issued rewards.
  • Promotion period: This limited-time offer has a defined start and end date. Qoder reserves the right to terminate or modify this promotion or its terms at any time.

FAQ Q: When does the promotion end? The end date has not been announced yet. We will provide advance notice through official channels including the Qoder website, email, and X, and will simultaneously publish the official pricing plan so you can evaluate and make decisions based on your needs at that time. Q: During the limited-time free period, do I still need to pay for the model’s usage fees? Yes. The limited-time free offer only applies to the platform fee charged by Qoder. The model’s own usage fees are charged by the respective model provider and are unrelated to Qoder. Q: Can individual/personal edition users use BYOK? Yes. The Community Edition (formerly the free edition) also supports BYOK. Q: What will the pricing be after official billing begins? The official rates will be announced before the promotion ends. Our goal is to maintain a reasonable and transparent rate that does not make the platform fee a burden for using BYOK. Q: How is data security ensured when using BYOK? When using a self-configured API Key, your code and conversation data are sent to the model provider you selected — Qoder does not retain this data separately. The specific data protection measures are governed by the model provider’s privacy policy, and we recommend familiarizing yourself with it in advance.
