Qoder offers long-term memory capabilities. As developers interact with Qoder, it gradually builds a comprehensive memory base that includes information about the individual developer, specific projects, and encountered issues. This memory is automatically organized and updated over time. With this capability, Qoder can engage with developers more effectively and, over time, develop a deeper understanding of each developer’s unique needs and context.
Note: When conflicts occur between Rules and Memory, Rules take precedence.

Active memory

Switch to Agent mode in the AI Chat panel and type what you’d like Qoder to remember. Qoder will save the information. You can retrieve it later by asking in the AI Chat panel.

Automatic memory

Qoder automatically retains conversations and learns about your coding style and project details over time.

View memories

In the upper-right corner of your Qoder IDE, click the user icon or use the keyboard shortcut ( , (macOS)orCtrl shift ,(Windows)), and select Qoder Settings. Then, click Memories to see saved memories. You can remove any unwanted entries.

Memory scope

When a developer works on a project, both global memories—reflecting personal preferences—and project-specific memories are activated and applied throughout all interactions with Qoder.
